Further Information

Additional Names:
PC4, P15, PC4, p14
Application Note:
PC4 antibody can be used for detection of PC4 by ELISA at 1:1562500. PC4 antibody can be used for detection of PC4 by western blot at 2.5 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
PC4 is a transcriptional coactivator. General transcription factor IIH protects promoters from PC4-mediated repression by relieving the topological constraint imposed by PC4 through the ERCC3 helicase activity rather than by reducing the repressive activity of PC4 via its phosphorylation.
