Further Information

Additional Names:
UNCX, UNCX4.1
Application Note:
UNCX antibody can be used for detection of UNCX by ELISA at 1:1562500. UNCX antibody can be used for detection of UNCX by western blot at 1.0 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
UNCX is a transcription factor involved in somitogenesis and neurogenesis. It is required for the maintenance and differentiation of particular elements of the axial skeleton. It may act upstream of PAX9. UNCX plays a role in controlling the development of connections of hypothalamic neurons to pituitary elements, allowing central neurons to reach the peripheral blood circulation and to deliver hormones for control of peripheral functions.
Buffer:
Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
Concentration:
batch dependent
Conjugate:
Unconjugated
Immunogen:
Antibody produced in rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding a region of human UNCX.
