Further Information

Additional Names:
ATPMB, ATPSB, ATP synthase subunit beta, mitochondrial, ATPMB, HEL-S-271, ATP synthase b chain
Application Note:
ATP synthase β chain, mitochondrial antibody can be used for the detection of ATP synthase β chain, mitochondrial by Western Blot.
Background:
FUNCTION: Produces ATP from ADP in the presence of a proton gradient across the membrane. The β chain is the catalytic subunit.

CATALYTIC ACTIVITY: ATP + H2O + H+(In) = ADP + phosphate + H+(Out).

SUBUNIT: F-type ATPases have 2 components, CF(1) - the catalytic core - and CF(0) - the membrane proton channel. CF(1) has five subunits: α(3), β(3), γ(1), Δ(1), ε(1). CF(0) has three main subunits: a, b and c.
Buffer:
Phosphate-Buffered Saline. No preservatives added.
Concentration:
1 mg/mL
Conjugate:
Unconjugated
