Further Information

Additional Names:
IRF2, IRF-2
Application Note:
IRF2 antibody can be used for detection of IRF2 by ELISA at 1:1562500. IRF2 antibody can be used for detection of IRF2 by western blot at 5.0 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
IRF2 is a member of the interferon regulatory transcription factor (IRF) family. IRF2 competitively inhibits the IRF1-mediated transcriptional activation of interferons alpha and beta, and presumably other genes that employ IRF1 for transcription activation. However, IRF2 also functions as a transcriptional activator of histone H4.
