Further Information

Additional Names:
MKNK2, GPRK7, MNK2
Application Note:
MKNK2 antibody can be used for detection of MKNK2 by ELISA at 1:1562500. MKNK2 antibody can be used for detection of MKNK2 by western blot at 1 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
MKNK2 may play a role in the response to environmental stress and cytokines. It appears to regulate transcription by phosphorylating EIF4E, thus increasing the affinity of this protein for the 7-methylguanosine-containing mRNA cap.
