Further Information

Additional Names:
CREBZF, ZF, SMILE
Application Note:
CREBZF antibody can be used for detection of CREBZF by ELISA at 1:1562500. CREBZF antibody can be used for detection of CREBZF by western blot at 5.0 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
CREBZF strongly activates transcription when bound to HCFC1. CREBZF suppresses the expression of HSV proteins in cells infected with the virus in a HCFC1-dependent manner. It also suppresses the HCFC1-dependent transcriptional activation by CREB3 and reduces the amount of CREB3 in the cell. It is able to down-regulate expression of some cellular genes in CREBZF-expressing cells.
Buffer:
Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
Concentration:
batch dependent

Unconjugated
Immunogen:
Antibody produced in rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding a region of human CREBZF.
