Application Note:
PHF12 antibody can be used for detection of PHF12 by ELISA at 1:312500. PHF12 antibody can be used for detection of PHF12 by western blot at 1 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
PHF12 acts as a transcriptional repressor. It is involved in recruitment of functional SIN3A complexes to DNA. PHF12 represses transcription at least in part through the activity of an associated histone deacetylase (HDAC). IT may also repress transcription in a SIN3A-independent manner through recruitment of functional AES complexes to DNA.
