Additional Names:
DMBX1, Atx, Mbx, Cdmx, Otx3
Application Note:
DMBX1 antibody can be used for detection of DMBX1 by ELISA at 1:62500. DMBX1 antibody can be used for detection of DMBX1 by western blot at 0.5 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
Transcription factors containing a homeodomain play an important role in the organogenesis of vertebrates. Otx3/Dmbx1 is a member of paired class homeodomain transcription factors. Otx3/Dmbx1 represses the Otx2-mediated transactivation in the developing brain by forming heterodimer with Otx2 on the P3C (TAATCCGATTA) sequence in vitro.
