Application Note:
FEZF1 antibody can be used for detection of FEZF1 by ELISA at 1:62500. FEZF1 antibody can be used for detection of FEZF1 by western blot at 1 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
FEZF1 is a transcription repressor. It is involved in the axonal projection and proper termination of olfactory sensory neurons (OSN). It plays a role in rostro-caudal patterning of the diencephalon and in prethalamic formation. Expression of the FEZF1 is required in OSN to cell-autonomously regulate OSN axon projections. FEZF1 regulates non-cell-autonomously the layer formation of the olfactory bulb development and the interneurons. It may be required for correct rostral migration of the interneuron progenitors.
