Application Note:
HMGB1 antibody can be used for detection of HMGB1 by ELISA at 1:62500. HMGB1 antibody can be used for detection of HMGB1 by western blot at 1.25 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
Extracellular HMGB1 is an activator of human tumor cell migration operating in concert with EGF. HMGB1 encodes a protein that is potentially involved in the regulation of lipogenic and cholesterogenic gene transcription.
