Application Note:
IGFBP2 antibody can be used for detection of IGFBP2 by ELISA at 1:12500. IGFBP2 antibody can be used for detection of IGFBP2 by western blot at 1 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
IGF-binding proteins prolong the half-life of the IGFs and have been shown to either inhibit or stimulate the growth promoting effects of the IGFs on cell culture. They alter the interaction of IGFs with their cell surface receptors.
