Application Note:
MPG antibody can be used for detection of MPG by ELISA at 1:62500. MPG antibody can be used for detection of MPG by western blot at 0.5 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
MPG functions in the hydrolysis of the deoxyribose N-glycosidic bond to excise 3-methyladenine, and 7-methylguanine from the damaged DNA polymer formed by alkylation lesions.
