Further Information

Additional Names:
C21orf33, D21S2048E, ES1, GT335, HES1, KNP-I, KNPH, KNPI
Application Note:
C21orf33 antibody can be used for detection of C21orf33 by ELISA at 1:1562500. C21orf33 antibody can be used for detection of C21orf33 by western blot at 2.5 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
C21orf33 inhibits both estrogen- and heregulin-beta1-stimulated growth of breast cancer cells, and further suggests that growth inhibition induced in these cells by all-trans retinoic acid occurs via HES-1-mediated downregulation of E2F-1 expression. C21orf33 may also be a candidate protein involved in the pathogenesis of the brain deficit in DS.
