Further Information

Additional Names:
MTTP, ABL, MGC149819, MGC149820, MTP
Application Note:
MTTP antibody can be used for detection of MTTP by ELISA at 1:312500. MTTP antibody can be used for detection of MTTP by western blot at 1.0 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
MTP encodes the large subunit of the heterodimeric microsomal triglyceride transfer protein. Protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) completes the heterodimeric microsomal triglyceride transfer protein, which has been shown to play a central role in lipoprotein assembly. Mutations in MTP can cause abetalipoproteinemia.MTP encodes the large subunit of the heterodimeric microsomal triglyceride transfer protein.
