PPAT antibody can be used for detection of PPAT by ELISA at 1:62500. PPAT antibody can be used for detection of PPAT by western blot at 0.25 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
PPAT is a member of the purine/pyrimidine phosphoribosyltransferase family. This protein is a regulatory allosteric enzyme that catalyzes the first step of de novo purine nucleotide biosynthesis. Its gene and PAICS/AIRC, a bifunctional enzyme catalyzing steps six and seven in the purine nucleotide biosynthesis pathway, are located in close proximity on chromosome 4.The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the purine/pyrimidine phosphoribosyltransferase family.
