  • Western Blot (WB)
Storage:
beta-NGF lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20˚C. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1 - 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2

1 / 2
This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human pancreas adenocarcinoma. The recommended concentration is 2.5 ug/ml with an overnight incubation at 4°C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 9.0 buffer is recommended. See photo(s). Optimal concentrations and conditions may vary.

Further Information

Additional Names:
Nerve growth factor, NGFB, HSAN5, Beta-NGF, MGC161426, MGC161428 , Beta-nerve growth factorBeta-NGF
Application Note:
Neutralization:
To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hB-NGF (10.0 ng/mL), a concentration of 2.7 - 4.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required.

ELISA:

In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 μL/well), a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/mL of this antibody will detect at least 200 pg/mL of recombinant human β-NGF when used with our biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human b-NGF as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.5-1.0 μg/mL.

Western Blot:

To detect hβ-NGF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 4.0-8.0 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hβ-NGF is 4.0-8.0 ng/lane, under reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Concentration:
batch dependent
Conjugate:
Unconjugated
Immunogen:
beta-NGF antibody is produced in mice using highly pure (>98%) recombinant human beta-NGF as the immunizing antigen.
