Further Information

Additional Names:
NCC1, CKb10, MCP-4, NCC-1, SCYL1, SCYA13, MCP4, NCC1, C-C motif chemokine 13, CK-beta-10
Application Note:
Neutralization:
To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hMCP-4 (30.00 ng/mL), a concentration of 3.0 - 4.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required.

ELISA:

To detect hMCP-4 by direct ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hMCP-4.

Sandwich:

To detect hMCP-4 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with our Biotinylated Anti-Human MCP-4 (XP-5224Bt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hMCP-4.

Western Blot:
To detect hMCP-4 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hMCP-4 is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Background:
Human macrophage/monocyte chemotactic protein 4 (MCP4) is a member of the b-chemokine family (C-C) of Cytokines. Like Eotaxin, MCP4 is a powerful eosinophil chemo-attractant. Additionally, like MCP3, MCP4 elicits chemo-attraction of monocytes and T lymphocytes
Concentration:
batch dependent
Conjugate:
Unconjugated
Immunogen:
Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hMCP-4 (human Macrophage/Monocyte chemotactic protein-4).
