Application Note:
CTF1 antibody can be used for detection of CTF1 by ELISA at 1:312500. CTF1 antibody can be used for detection of CTF1 by western blot at 0.5 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
CTF1 induces cardiac myocyte hypertrophy in vitro. It binds to and activates the ILST/gp130 receptor. It belongs to the IL-6 superfamily.
