VSX1 antibody can be used for detection of VSX1 by ELISA at 1:12500. VSX1 antibody can be used for detection of VSX1 by western blot at 5 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
VSX1 contains a paired-like homeodomain and binds to the core of the locus control region of the red/green visual pigment gene cluster. VSX1 may regulate expression of the cone opsin genes early in development. Mutations in this gene can cause posterior polymorphous corneal dystrophy (PPCD) and keratoconus.
