Further Information

Additional Names:
ATF1, EWS-ATF1, FUS/ATF-1, TREB36
Application Note:
ATF1 antibody can be used for detection of ATF1 by ELISA at 1:12500. ATF1 antibody can be used for detection of ATF1 by western blot at 0.5 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
ATF1 binds the cAMP response element (CRE) (consensus: 5'-GTGACGT [AC] [AG]-3'), a sequence present in many viral and cellular promoters. ATF1 binds to the Tax-responsive element (TRE) of HTLV-I. ATF1 mediates PKA-induced stimulation of CRE-reporter genes.
