Further Information

Additional Names:
EIF2AK2, EIF2AK1, MGC126524, PKR, PRKR
Application Note:
EIF2AK2 antibody can be used for detection of EIF2AK2 by ELISA at 1:1562500. EIF2AK2 antibody can be used for detection of EIF2AK2 by western blot at 1 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
EIF2AK2 might play a role in ER stress-induced apoptosis and in Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer cases show prominent EIF2AK2 activation in association with neuritic plaques and pyramidal neurons in the hippocampus and neocortex.
