RCVRN antibody can be used for detection of RCVRN by ELISA at 1:312500. RCVRN antibody can be used for detection of RCVRN by western blot at 1 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
RCVRN is a member of the recoverin family of neuronal calcium sensors. The protein contains three calcium-binding EF-hand domains and may prolong the termination of the phototransduction cascade in the retina by blocking the phosphorylation of photo-activated rhodopsin. Recoverin may be the antigen responsible for cancer-associated retinopathy.This gene encodes a member of the recoverin family of neuronal calcium sensors.
