MCP-3 lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20˚C. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1 - 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4&

Further Information

Additional Names:
Monocyte chemotactic protein 3, MCP3, SCYA6, SCYA7, C-C motif chemokine 7, Monocyte chemoattractant protein 3, MCP-3, FIC, MARC, NC28
Application Note:
Neutralization:
To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hMCP-3 (100ng/mL), a concentration of 1 - 3 μg/mL of this antibody is required.

ELISA:

In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 μL/well), a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/mL of this antibody will detect recombinant human MCP-3 when used with our biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human MCP-3 (XP-5221Bt) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.5-1.0 μg/mL.

Western Blot:

To detect hMCP-3 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.5-1.0 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hMCP-3 is 2.0-4.0 ng/lane, under reducing conditions and 0.25-0.50 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.
Background:
MCP-3 is a secreted chemokine which attracts macrophages during inflammation and metastasis. It is a member of the C-C subfamily of chemokines which are characterized by having two adjacent cysteine residues. The protein is an in vivo substrate of matrix metalloproteinase 2, an enzyme which degrades components of the extracellular matrix.
Concentration:
batch dependent
Conjugate:
Unconjugated
Immunogen:
The monoclonal antibody was produced in C3H/HeJ mice using recombinant hMCP-3 as the immunizing antigen.
