Application Note:
ELAC1 antibody can be used for detection of ELAC1 by ELISA at 1:312500. ELAC1 antibody can be used for detection of ELAC1 by western blot at 1 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
ELAC1 belongs to the RNase Z family. It is a zinc phosphodiesterase, which displays some tRNA 3'-processing endonuclease activity. The protein is probably involved in tRNA maturation, by removing a 3'-trailer from precursor tRNA.
