Further Information

Additional Names:
SERPINB5, PI5, maspin
Application Note:
SERPINB5 antibody can be used for detection of SERPINB5 by ELISA at 1:62500. SERPINB5 antibody can be used for detection of SERPINB5 by western blot at 0.625 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
As a tumor suppressor, it blocks the growth, invasion, and metastatic properties of mammary tumors. As it does not undergo the S (stressed) to R (relaxed) conformational transition characteristic of active serpins, it exhibits no serine protease inhibitory activity.
