Background:
Cavin 2-SDR (serum deprivation response) is a member of the PKC enzyme family. Immunolocalization studies show Cavin 2 in caveoli. Cavin 2 appears to be recruited to caveoli by Cavin 1. Cavin 2 appears to be involved in some aspects of caveolar function yet to be determined
