Background:
IL-37 (IL-1F7; IL-1H4) belongs to the IL-1 family of proteins. It binds to the interleukin-18 receptor (IL-18R) but not to the IL-1 receptor. It plays an important role as a link between innate and adaptive immunity. IL-37 is a new player in inflammatory and immune responses, mediated by the IL-18/IL-18R axis. It was shown to inhibit tumor growth.
Buffer:
Lyophilized from 0.2um-filtered solution in 55mM TRIS-Cl, pH 8.2, containing 150mM NaCl. Reconstitute in distilled water.
