It displays anti-tumour activities in mouse xenograft models. In vitro, LY2801653 has an IC50 for inhibition of MET phosphorylation between 35.2-59.2nM. LY2801653 was found in nonclinical models to also have potent activity against several other receptor tyrosine oncokinases including FLT3, AXL, MERTK, TEK, ROS1, DDR1/2 and against the serine/threonine kinases MKNK1/2.
