Images

1 / 2
Western Blot at 1:1000 dilution Lane 1: Hela whole cell lysates Lane 2: A549 whole cell lysates Lysates/proteins at 20 ug per lane.
2 / 2
Fluorescent confocal image of Hela cell stained with NFIC Antibody . Hela cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with NFIC primary antibody (1:25). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:400).Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7units/ml). Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue) (10 ug/ml, 10 min). NFIC immunoreactivity is localized to nucleus significantly.

Further Information

Additional Names:
Nuclear factor 1 C-type, NF1-C, Nuclear factor 1/C, CCAAT-box-binding transcription factor, CTF, Nuclear factor I/C, NF-I/C, NFI-C, TGGCA-binding protein, NFIC, NFI
Application Note:
For WB starting dilution is: 1:1000

For IF starting dilution is: 1:10~50
Background:
NFIC recognizes and binds the palindromic sequence 5'-TTGGCNNNNNGCCAA-3' present in viral and cellular promoters and in the origin of replication of adenovirus type 2. These proteins are individually capable of activating transcription and replication.
