Further Information

Additional Names:
Glucagon receptor, GL-R, GCGR
Application Note:
For WB starting dilution is: 1:1000
Background:
This is a receptor for glucagon which plays a central role in regulating the level of blood glucose by controlling the rate of hepatic glucose production and insulin secretion. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase and also a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system.
Buffer:
Supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide.
Concentration:
batch dependent
Conjugate:
Unconjugated
DISCLAIMER:
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. The information provided is a guideline for product use. This product is for research use only.
Immunogen:
This GCGR antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide selected from the C-terminal region of human FOXC1.
